OUR PLACE
Our Place employs a multi-faceted approach to counseling, rehabilitating and guiding troubled Jewish youth in their return to mainstream society.
Our Place provides troubled youth with a second chance; an opportunity to serve as a source of everlasting pride to their family, community and Jewish heritage.
The Eli Verschleiser Family Foundation has supported Our Place since its inception in 1998.
As a young adult and teen Eli Verschleiser went through turbulent times and has made it his personal life mission to give today's youth a second chance.
AMERICAN JEWISH CONGRESS
The American Jewish Congress is a dynamic organization, with a unique perspective, a deep sense of purpose and the courage and tenacity to tackle crucial issues of concern to the Jewish community at home and abroad. Of high priority on our current agenda is challenging the BDS movement (boycott, divestment & sanctions) to de-legitimize and isolate Israel, as we continue the agency’s efforts to bring about peace in the Middle East.
AJCongress serves as a prominent voice in Washington and maintains its historic role in protecting and preserving the civil rights and liberties of all Americans. Eli Verschleiser served as a treasurer for the AJC.
LURIA ACADEMY
Luria Academy is a nurturing, child-centered, value-oriented environment dedicated to academic excellence and Jewish heritage. Luria incorporates innovative teaching methodologies and state of the art technological educational tools. By exposing our students to a uniquely integrated Judaic-secular curriculum we offer them an extremely rigorous and high quality Torah and secular education.
Above all, Luria fosters Jewish pride – Ahavas Yisrael – and a deep sense of compassion and commitment for all mankind – Ahavas Olam. The foundation donated the initial fifty thousand dollars in helping open the school.

MAGENU
Magenu has educated thousands of individuals on the topic of protecting children from sexual abuse.
Dr. Shani Verschleiser, AuD. LCSW currently runs Magenu, and has created the “Be a Star” curriculum used by the Magenu child safety initiative which she co-founded together with her husband Eli Verschleiser.

The Jewish Community Council of Marine Park (“JCCMP”) is a social services organization that unites and assists the residents of the Marine Park community and its surrounding neighborhoods.
Focusing on the needs of these specific communities, the JCCMP has created numerous programs and services designed to improve the overall quality of life of its residents. Whether it is providing financial assistance or food to families, social activities for teens, or advocating with the government, the JCC of Marine Park addresses the immediate needs of the community and the individual, enhancing and improving the quality of lives of both.

Bonei olam
Bonei Olam today maintains 11 regional chapters in 5 countries around the world. Each year, Bonei Olam provides millions of dollars in financial assistance to cover the prohibitive costs of fertility treatments and medical procedures.
To date, thousands of children have been brought into the world through the financial assistance and resources provided by Bonei Olam.
THE MENACHEM EDUCATION FOUNDATION (MEF)
The Menachem Education Foundation (MEF) was established with the goal of raising the bar for Jewish education, with a specific concentration on the Chabad educational world. At MEF, they have an uncompromising focus on student success. It is their mission to be the best champions of Chabad students. They accomplish this goal by working through Chabad schools, and empowering effective educational leadership, staff and lay leaders.
